Winter Fun

On the first snowfall my brother, sister, and I all go outside and snowboard or sled.  I’ve gotten a lot better over the years.  I can do a 180 degree turn on the ground.  My brother likes to show off.  I can tell. Every time he goes he says, “Oh, I can do this. I can do that,” so I just ignore him.

On December 3, 2008 it wasn’t a good sledding day for me.  Each time I tried to sled down the hill I fell out of the sled.  I said, “You can try to sled if you want to die, because I always fall out and get snow in my gloves.”  We just laughed.

I like to make forts in drifts.  It’s really fun.  We use shovels to dig in the drifts and snow.  One time we made a huge fort and had snowball fights in it.

My dad, brother, sister and I all went out and got a plastic box to make a finer fort.  Each day we built more on it until it was done.  We poured water on it too.

Now that hockey is done we can go snow skiing a lot more.  My cousins work at Cascade Mountain so we get free discounts when we go.  I love snow skiing!

I make snowmen a lot.  One time my sister and I made a snowman with chocolate and strawberry   syrup.  Yummy!  I licked it all off.
