Me as an Owl By Paris

If I were an animal I would be a majestic owl. I want to be an owl because it would be fun to be able to fly in the dark. I also like the owl’s amazing eyes. It would be awesome to be so quiet.

The kind of owl I would want to be is a great horned owl, because they are monstrous, feathery creatures. I love their colorful feathers. 

If I were an owl I would live in the woods behind my house. There are a lot of tall trees and places to hide. There are also lots of tasty chipmunks, mice, and moles. 

If I were an owl I wouldn’t hoot that much. 

If I were an owl I would scare a massive bunch of people because my face would look so scary. It might look like I’m a lazy owl. 

When I eat I would spit out little owl pellets that have all the bones and feathers in them.

If I started getting heavy I would have to eat slimy, gooey, insects and reptiles.  

When I’m done eating I would snuggle down in a cozy nest in a big tree. When I wake up I would fly free and dive bomb rodents or birds. 

If I were an animal I would have the best outdoor life.

Pittsburgh Penguins By Paris

The Pittsburgh Penguins are an outstanding hockey team.  For example they won two Stanly cups in 1991 and in1992.  

This hockey team has played in Mellon Arena since their first season.  They will move to a different arena in 2010-11.  I don’t know why though.  

The Penguins have 25 people on their team. Some of the players are Sidney Crosby is a center.  He’s also the captain of the team.  

•    Marc-Andre Fleury is their main goalie.  He has yellow pads.

•    Sergei Gonchar is hurt, and an assistant captain.  Evgeni Malkin is also an assistant captain and from Russia.  

•    Ryan Whitney is hurt too. His hockey number is 19.  That was my hockey number.  

•    Mario Lemuieux won the MVP award four times though 1994-1998.  

Some other hockey teams are Detroit Red Wings, New Jersey Devils, and Toronto Maple leaves.  So now you know some about the Pittsburg Penguins.  

My mom, dad, and brother are going to a penguin-Devils game in November.     

Noah’s Ark By Paris

One of my favorite places is Noah’s Ark. Noah’s Ark is a huge outdoor waterpark. It is located in Wisconsin Dells. About one week before school, my mom, dad, brother, sister, and I all went to Noah’s Ark.  

We had so much fun. One of the rides that they had was Time Warp. Last time I went to Noah’s Ark I rode the Time Warp, and my back started hurting so bad. I realized I had a big scrape on it. Another ride is the Point of No Return. It is too scary to ride.

I did ride the Plunge. I was so close to flying out. I almost liked it. The splash down was fun. Congo Bongo is my personal favorite, since I was a baby. Dark Voyage is also my favorite ride.

I went to see Spongebob 4-D. It is a kind of movie. It was the best thing ever. It was awesome! You get wet because it squirts out water at you. You can feel Spongebob blowing at you. You can smell and it’s 3-D.

You should definitely go to Noah’s Ark someday.
